I have a new puppy and a 4 yr old child. Should I take my child's hand and place it on the puppy's nose and tap her hand and put her hand back to the puppy? He jumps and bits (play bits) her a lot. She usually puts her hands out in front of him to keep him down but I think when she does that it pkoovres him to jump and play more. Any suggestions?

George's marvellous micndiee by Roald Dahl.I thought it was funny and interesting.My favourite bit was when George's grandma drank his micndiee an grew realy big.I would recommend this book to a friend because I think it is one of Roald Dahls best books and the pictures are realy good in it.

This is not true! I would never give my animals meiniatdocs that are designed to treat humans. I would only ask your Vet these questions as they will know what is safe to give your animal. It don't believe its safe to give a cat children's meiniatdocs. I have heard that many medicines that are designed for humans can be highly toxic to animals and even the smallest dose could kill them or cause serious damage. If money is an issue, your Vet might have some very cheap' meiniatdocs you can use if your cat is sick.

I have owned many cats, and I reccommend this book. The book is easy to read and has a at-a-glance guide to signs and symtopms. It also gives you information about what to do in an emergancy, tips on posion control, first aid, and it also explains cat behaviors. This is definitely the best book for cat owners.

Bless your heart, Miss Sparkle, that was just rotten of her! I watned to share with you something that happened this week. Every single time I went to the hospital to see my dad EVERY time, no kidding when I would get about 3 miles away from Tulsa, either a Kix or a Rhino Bucket song would come on the radio. I had never even heard a Rhino Bucket song before that I can remember. Of course, I thought of you when it would come on, then I thought of the CB and the great community. Maybe this seems really stupid (honestly, I'm so tired right now I don't know what's funny and what's not!), but I watned to share this with you. Thank you for your purrs and prayers. It was comforting during a really bad week.jana

I believe you shluod say yes in your interview if at the end of the day thats whats going to get you a job. I don't think a lot of requests for that would occur in your working life.I do believe it is unethical to put down a perfectly healthy animal though. Was this answer helpful?

kouneliYou have the legal right to at least obtain COPIES of the medaicl records if it hasn't been past 8 years ago. You may have to have them fax you the paperwork. I do know of one vet that had faxed me a paper to sign. I signed it, faxed it back, and got the medaicl records faxed the next day.

I checked this out from the lirabry and it's too bad it's not still in print. This book starts from the basics and covers everything. My cat is expecting kittens and I'm very nervous about this whole thing. The book told me just what I needed to know about how to care for her and the kittens. It has cat first aid, a symptom chart for when your cat is sick, and tips on choosing a cat. It has it all. A great book for the cat owner, and a great gift for a friend.

I tried the new age methods for nippnig. Including making like a tree and looking the other way etc. None of that worked. For some reason in the last 15 years there has been this movement towards ONLY positive re-inforcement. You progressive people need to understand that a dog is basically a domesticated wolf. They are PACK ANIMALS. If you do not take the role as leader they will step-up and become leader thenmselves. Personally, I am going to give the info. in this video a try.

sandstone veterinary services is a very detailed and well managed company ran by one of what I find one of the best veterinarians, Mr Raymond Leheiget. Why he does not have a bigger business I don't know. I think if he were running 200 cows he would be awesome. I have to compliment on the awesomness of his oldest though. the other two I couldn't care less about. I would be very proud of him if he were my dad.

This veterinarian has a lot of clients who are happy to pay a lot of money. If that's you, good luck. I got a bill for diagnostics and prescriptions that were wrong and did not help at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNCARING, GREEDY VET!

I'm writing this to save someone else the heartbreaking experience I had. My cat was sick and I brought him here and unfortunately it led to having to put him down. First off, the vet was very insensitive to this difficult decision, then he BOTCHED THE PROCEDURE. Did you read that properly? He had to send the assistant out of the room to fetch another syringe while my poor cat was obviously in pain from the first one. This happened years ago and it still haunts me just as strongly.
I'm writing this now because last night I had to drive a friend to my current vet, because she was also a Glebe client and had brought her elderly cat there with one problem, and the next night (last night) had to bring him and have him put down because of another problem. Coincidence? Regardless, nothing may happen to you, but on the off chance it does, why not choose different vet? You don't want to be haunted as I am.

they are so booked that it takes for ever to get an apointment , then you get there in time but wont pass for ar least one hour after ,BUT THE SERVICE IS GREAT! THEY TAKE THERE TIME WITH YOU , NO RUSH ,THEY EXPLAINA LOT OF THINGS ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ECT. I LOVED MY EXPERIENCE AT THAT VET! COMPARE TO THE OTHER VET IN TOWN THIS ONE COST ME 30$ MORE ! BUT I WILL STILL GO BACK TO HER!

I went here once to get my pug some shots and a checkup. I paid just under 200 dollars for shots + some ear medication. They even charged me 15 dollars to show me how to put the ear meds in her ear... Then they told me my dog had periodontal disease and all her small teeth would have to be removed, and it would cost me up to 1600 dollars... This was devastating news so I took my pug to westboro animal hospital for a second opinion, they initially told me it would cost about 800 for the whole procedure. So I closed my account with this clinic and went here instead, after the surgery my pug only lost her bottom teeth and one small molar and everything cost me 470 dollars, a savings of over 1000 dollars... you do the math, I don't recommend this place at all.
